Lambchop to Release Live Album, Film
Reporting from this July's 20th anniversary XX Merge blowout in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, our own Grayson Currin said that underrated Nashville troupe Lambchop stole the show from biggies like Spoon and Conor Oberst. Band leader Kurt Wagner "charmed like an eccentric uncle and charged like a woodshedding evangelist" during the set, wrote Currin.
And now Merge is releasing professional grade audio and video of the much-praised gig digitally on November 17 and physically a week later, on November 24. Those fiending to get the live Lambchop experience up close can check them out at three upcoming North Carolina gigs, too.
